It is reported that Mabel broke up with her boyfriend, Rome Flynn, for the second time.
The 25-year-old singer began a relationship with the actor last year, but the couple set a time for a relationship just six months later.
However, they rekindled their love at a distance in April when hitmaker “Don’t Call Me Up” was recording new music in the US, but now they’re done with it again.
An insider suggested that the long distance between the couple, when Mabel lives in the UK and Rome works in Los Angeles, means the relationship was a struggle.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Mabel and Rome have a lot of chemistry, but it’s no secret that their relationship is in serious trouble. He lives in Los Angeles and she lives in the UK, and they both travel a lot for work.
“Given these factors, this is an unlikely romance. But they love each other so much that they agreed to try again earlier this year.
“Everything was much more in their favor while they were actually in the same country. But unfortunately it still didn’t work and they are both single again. “
Mabel – the daughter of singer Nene Cherry and producer Cameron McVeigh – revealed last year that she returned to her parents during the coronavirus quarantine to help manage her anxiety.
She explained, “I just thought it would be too difficult when I already had a lot of mental health problems.”
The “Boyfriend” singer also admitted that she accepts the fact that she will struggle with anxiety for the rest of her life.
Mabel said, “When I was younger, I always thought that maybe if I had a boyfriend, or if I dyed my hair that color, or if I had album # 1, the anxiety would disappear. but that’s who I am and I really like it.
“I had the misconception that confidence was becoming the person I wanted to be, and now I know that confidence is actually 100 percent who you are.
“Now I hear a quiet voice in my head and I say,” Okay, you’re there, but I’m not going to believe everything you say. “
