Manchester United have signed midfielder Mason Mount from Chelsea in a £60m transfer.

Utd had twice seen transfer offers for Mount turned down by Chelsea despite the 24-year-old’s rebuffed new contract offers from west London, prompting both clubs to agree to serious talks culminating in a £30 transfer deal. 60 million.

Utd manager John Murtough added that Mount “is an extremely intelligent footballer and has so many fantastic technical qualities that he will add significantly to our team.”
