After actress Megan Fox called former President Donald Trump “a legend” during her appearance at the big UFC fight last weekend, unsurprisingly, many anti-Trump fans criticized her on Twitter.

Fox’s response? They are “uneducated” and have a “burn a witch at the stake” mentality.

All hell breaks loose online after Fox calls Trump a ‘legend’

Fox’s original comments were made on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” earlier in the week, where guest host Arsenio Hall asked Fox how Trump was received considering she was also present.

“I was in a row with [Justin] Bieber and Trump were also in my line, ”said the 35-year-old.

“He was a legend,” Fox said. “That arena was very supportive of Trump when he came in.”

“I’ve never seen anything like it before.” “It was crazy.”

You can guess what happened next, as many on social media criticized the idea that the actress could possibly say something positive about the former Republican president.

Additionally, some Trump fans circulated the clip, praising Fox for being such a fan.

Fox strikes back

So Fox decided to make it perfectly clear in an Instagram post on Thursday.

“Uhmmm … I don’t align myself with any political party or individual politicians,” he wrote in capital letters.

“I never said that Donald Trump is a legend. I said he was a legend … in that arena (key part of the sentence), ”Fox explained.

Fox on Cancellation Culture: ‘I really love this lack of education … Carrying the pitchfork, burning a witch mentality at the stake’

“The arena was packed with fans of UFC fights, many of them clearly Republican due to the insane reaction from the crowd he received upon entering the T-Mobile compound,” Fox said.

“That was an observable fact,” he said. “It is not my opinion.”

Then Fox turned on his critics.

“I really love this bad mannered and mean evil [sic]However, the mentality of burning a witch at the stake, the world needs more of that, ”she wrote, obviously with her tongue firmly on her cheek.
