Megan McCain may now be the married mother of one of them, but when she was single she had a surefire way to get out of a bad date. A conservative thug made a confession during a recent episode Viewwhere the ladies discussed their best ways to get out of a bad date. While other panellists used more traditional methods, all McCain had to do was be himself, with some minor embellishments.
Megan McCain’s Reliable Bad Dating Strategy
Today on Viewpanelists discussed their tried and true methods of getting rid of a failed date. While other co-hosts, Joy Behar, Whoopi Golberg, Sarah Haynes, Sunny Hostin, and Ana Navarro, have listed common tactics such as stating that you need to go to the bathroom to escape, or just being honest and straightforward, Megan McCain’s method was quite differently.
McCain, a staunch conservative, explained that all she had to do on dates in New York or Los Angeles was to tell her date that she was a Republican. She recalled that men in cities, which are strongholds of Democrats, would immediately twist their tails and flee themselves.
“I met in New York and Los Angeles, all I had to say was, ‘I love the president.’ [George] Bush. I am for life and I am NRA [National Rifle Association] member “, and then they immediately run away,” she admitted jokingly. McCain encouraged viewers to try this strategy, adding, “Even if you’re not a Republican, you can just start lying about it and the men will run away. It only works in New York and Los Angeles, but it acts like a charm. “
The View co-hosts disagree with McCain’s tactics
McCain then shared an anecdote from her dating days, before she married Ben Domenech and gave birth to daughter Liberty, where she was stuck on a date with a spectacular setback. “In particular, I remember one guy who looked like me … I didn’t have that,” she told her co-hosts. “I thought, ‘I really, really love Mitch McConnell.’ And I don’t seem to like Mitch McConnell, but it worked. He said, “Oh my God, okay,” and then the date was over. ” Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Other ladies View had a great time laughing with McCain over her memories, and Behar noted that if calling yourself a Republican in democratic cities works, then the opposite must be true. “The opposite would work for me in Texas or Mississippi if I said I was a Democrat,” Behar joked.
