Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby have been dubbed working husband and wife, but that seems to have ended after the release of their collaboration “SKAT” with Tory Lanez.
Tory announced that she had a song with DaBaby at the top of the year, and Megan apparently responded, “nice try.” Later, he tweeted: “That shit was old and unclear. CRYBABY VIDEO is coming out soon. “
The Toronto artist apparently obtained clearance and Baby promoted the single on his Instagram page. “‘SKAT’ OUT NOW,” he wrote and tagged Tory.
It didn’t take long for fans to snoop through their followers and realize that the Houston Hottie hit the unfollow button. The Charlotte native is still following her, so it’s unclear if their friendship was severed or he just doesn’t have bad blood towards her.
Lanez was charged with serious battery in connection with a shooting that allegedly involved Megan.
Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby formed a dynamic duo following the release of their popular hit “Cash Shit” and followed up with “Nasty”, “Cry Baby” and “I Did It” by DJ Khaled.
The pair also lead the nominations pack for the 2021 BET Awards with the awards show returning for an in-person recording next week.
