Broken OLED screen repair can be quickly fixed using a laser in the future.
A YouTube video has surfaced showing off new laser technology that can address OLED screen issues. A user by the name of Strange Parts reveals the machine in action, repairing broken traces or small pathways that carry electrical signals. It’s worth noting that the same technology is used in the manufacturing process for OLED displays.

This type of emerging technology can save iPhone users time and money, since it doesn’t involve disassembling the device. The machine can also perform repairs even if the screen is active, allowing the operator to see if the problem has been fixed. Also, you can apparently change the display flexibility as needed. As for the limitations, the machine can’t fix surface issues on screens like scratches and cracks, and it only works below the OLED panel which is attached to the glass component.
