The Townsend restaurant inside Whitechapel Gallery is teaming up with the gallery’s late-night contemporary art festival, Nocturnal Creatures, for a one-night-only supper club on July 23. The dinner will comprise four courses inspired by the work of artist Emma Talbot (whose new commission for the Whitechapel Gallery will be launched that same evening) and will feature forage products. Dishes will include Parmesan fritters with summer truffles, strozzapreti with green beans and nasturtium pesto, and fig leaf cream with elderflower, strawberries and almonds.
