The Nike and Doernbecher Freestyle event has raised more than $ 30 million for OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital since 2003 to protect the health of children in Oregon, Southwest Washington and beyond. In its 17th year, Doernbecher Freestyle launches an unforgettable tribute to ex-patient-designers, seen through the Air Jordan vault: an Air Jordan I “What The” Doernbecher, featuring elements from each of Air’s 14 designs. “This year, we couldn’t have designer patient-designers, but that didn’t stop us from celebrating, because it’s an annual time that kids, the sneaker community and Doernbecher circle their calendars, as well as all of us at the company,” says Eric.
