
United Arab Emirates Travel Guidelines: Entry ban for passengers with only one name in passport
The United Arab Emirates authorities have placed an embargo on the entry of travelers without their full name on an Indian passport.
It added that passengers with only one name written in their passport and planning to obtain a tourist or any other type of visa are not allowed to travel to or from the United Arab Emirates.
Any passport holder with only one name (word) either in surname or given name will not be accepted by UAE immigration and the passenger will be considered as INAD (inadmissible passenger)

“Then that passenger will not be granted a visa and in case the visa has been issued earlier, it will be INAD by immigration,” he added.
IndiGo has also issued a statement saying that passengers with only one name in their passports traveling on a tourist, visit or any other type of visa will not be allowed to travel to or from the UAE.
