“COVID-19 has changed almost every aspect of society as we know it, and doctors in hospitals across the United States are at the forefront of those changes. As a pediatric infectious disease physician who also writes a curriculum to help the next generation of physicians prepare for their medical examinations, I have seen first-hand how this current pandemic is changing our roles with patients, changing what families and communities look to us and accelerating advances in training and information sharing across the field.
