Police sergeant says it’s clear a drive-by shooting didn’t kill YNW SakChaser and YNW Juvy
YNW Melly, as well as YNW Bortlen, are accused of murdering Christopher “Juvy” Thomas Jr. and Anthony “Sakchaser” Williams in 2018 and pretending it was a shooting.
The trial began last week, and streams of Melly’s songs like “Murder On My Mind,” “Suicidal” and more are through the roof.
During today’s trial, crime scene detective Sgt. Christopher Williams testified that it was not a shooting that killed YNW Melly’s friends.
Williams testified that based on the evidence and his experience, it was clear that a drive-by shooting did not kill Anthony Williams, aka YNW SakChaser, or Christopher Thomas Jr., aka YNW Juvy.
“My determination was that this is not a drive-by shooting,” he testified. “The shooter was in a stationary position when the shots were fired.”
Detectives Danny Polo previously testified that YNW Melly is a member of the Blood gang. He testified that the young rapper often made gang hand signs in photos and wrote gang codes in text messages.
Prosecutors also allege that YNW Melly killed his 2 friends to join the ‘Bloods’ gang.
