Jenny Fleiss is a co-founder of Rent the Runway and sits on the boards of several major companies, including Shutterfly, Party City and, of course, Rent the Runway. He is also a partner of Volition Capital along with Larry Cheng.

In an upcoming episode of TechCrunch Live, Fleiss and Cheng will sit down to discuss their fundraising philosophy and for Fleiss, how her experience building a unicorn affects early stage startup investments. They will also talk about the current fundraising landscape early on, which is almost unrecognizable from the environment that Fleiss gathered ten years ago.

TechCrunch Live is all about helping founders build better venture-funded companies. We do this by sitting down with the founders and the investors who finance them to hear how they chose each other, how they faced challenges, and how successful founders grow their businesses rapidly.

The weekly event series also includes the launch of TechCrunch Live, which invites the founders in the audience to join our virtual stage and present their products to the audience and our expert speakers, who give live feedback on the fields.

TechCrunch Live is 100% free, but access to the extensive library of on-demand TCL content is reserved exclusively for TechCrunch + members.

The show goes down every Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET / noon PT. We see them!
