Draymond Green continues to make headlines as reports surface that he is not related to Jonathan Kuminga.
According to NBC Sports Bay Area Mount Poole, the lack of a relationship between Green and Kuminga is a problem for the Warriors. Also, while the team believes that the former defensive player of the year can solve their problems, people in the NBA are skeptical.
“(Draymond Green and Jonathan Kuminga’s non-relationship) is a problem and only Draymond can fix it,” Poole said. “The new contract means the Warriors think he can fix it, but there are a lot of people around the league who say, ‘I don’t know.'”
This is simply the latest controversy Green has recently found himself in. The four-time champion exchanged words with Jordan Poole’s father on Twitter after saying that he hit his son because he crossed the line. Green then fell for a fake date and spread a sordid story about Kevin Garnett. Finally, he admitted that he still doesn’t like his teammate Chris Paul and that they should “talking between men” All this happened in a span of 48 hours.
Green signed a four-year, $100 million contract extension at the start of this year’s free agency period.
