It takes courage to speak truth to power when you’re the only voice in an entire political party, but Rep. Justin Amash is undaunted. The only Republican to call for the impeachment of Donald Trump, he held a town hall in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on May 28 to standing ovations from a crowd of about 900 people.
He subsequently tweeted a lengthy thread highlighting how Attorney General Barr distorted the truth of the Mueller Report to protect the president from impeachment.
It may have worked in the meantime, mainly because the Democrats are refraining from making a compromise that could cost them in the 2020 election, but eventually this corrupt house of cards will come crashing down and everyone who has allowed the would-be demagogue into the White House will go down with him.

Attorney General Barr has deliberately misrepresented key aspects of the report and Mueller’s decisions in the investigation, which has helped further the president’s false narrative about the investigation.
