The resale value for Hyundai cars in Malaysia is apparently comparable to their Japanese rivals. According to the chief executive of Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM), Low Yuan lung, the perception that Hyundai cars have substantially lower resale value is totally out of place.
“The difference in the selling price of a five-year Hyundai model compared to a Japanese model is marginal. The same goes for the amortization value of both returns after five years, which is around 10% per annum, “he said, adding that the demand for Hyundai used cars have increased over the past five years.
“Hyundai has come a long way to prove itself as a reliable, superior quality car brand. Hyundai models today are not only beautiful to look at, they are also equipped with the latest innovation that is on par with premium continental brands, which is why they are in demand, ”Low noted.
He also claimed that all used Hyundai models listed on his Hyundai Promise Approved used car programs sell out quickly, possibly because they are rigorously inspected and maintained with genuine parts before being approved for sale.
The Hyundai Promise Center is located at Lot 33, Temasya Industrial Park, Glenmarie. The property is open from 9:00 to 17:00 on weekdays and from 9:00 to 12:30 on Saturdays. Hyundai Promise is owned and operated by HSDM, supported by Sime Darby Auto Selection.
