The most expensive trading card in existence belongs to Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.
Well, technically it belongs to alternative investment firm Alt, but it bears Curry’s likeness.

The record-breaking card recently reached the price of $ 5.9 million, breaking the previous record for a LeBron James card that sold for $ 5.2 million, also for Alt.
“Steph is a generational gamer,” Alt founder Leore Avidar told NBC Sports. “Our data shows that Steph’s cards have risen 35% in value to date – compare that to the S&P and you can see huge potential for return.”

In the All-Star point guard’s return to the NBA in 2020-21 after a broken left hand that sidelined him for most of 2019-20, the 33-year-old Curry scored 32 points per game on 63 games, the personal record once again shooting more than 40 percent from behind the arc (42.1).
The Warriors finished 39-33, good for ninth in the Western Conference, losing in overtime to Memphis 117-112 in an inning game.
