Ryan reynolds has spoken about mental health, and all thanks to his three daughters.
Having He recently spoke about his “lifelong” struggles with anxiety on Instagram, the 44 year old dead Pool the star spoke with Entertainment tonight about why you chose to speak in the first place.

“Part of this is that I have three daughters at home and part of my job as a father is to model behaviors and to model what it is to be sad and to model what it is to be anxious or angry. That there is room for all these things,” he Free boy said the star.
“The house that I grew up [up] in, that wasn’t really modeled for me. And that’s not to say that my parents were negligent, but that they come from a different generation. “
Reynolds shares three daughters – James, six, Inez, four, and Betty, one – with his wife. Blake Lively.

“Part of that is destigmatizing things and creating a conversation [mental health]”Reynolds said.
“I know that when I feel on the absolute bottom, it is usually because I feel like I am alone in something that I was feeling.
“So I think when people talk about it, I don’t necessarily stop or regret it, but I think it’s important to talk about it. And when you talk about it, it sets other people free.”

In May of this year, Reynolds made a statement on mental health and her battle with anxiety in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month.
“One of the reasons I’m posting this so late is that I over-schedule and the important stuff slips,” he said, referring to the fact that when he posted the admission, the month of May was almost over.

“And one of the reasons I go overboard is my lifelong friend, anxiety.

“I know that I am not alone and, more importantly, for all those like me who exceed their schedules, think too much, work too much, worry too much and above all, know that you are not alone.
“We don’t talk enough about mental health and we don’t do enough to destigmatize talking about it.
“But, as in this post, better late than never, I hope …”, he concluded.

Australian actor and longtime friend Hugh jackman he commented on Reynolds’ post, saying, “Buddy, your honesty is not only brave, but I’m sure it will help countless people who also struggle with anxiety. Good for you!”
Reynolds said she hopes her presentation will help others who may be struggling with their own mental health.
