Quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers, who made their return to the NFL – the former from a finger injury, the latter from a Covid attack – were both rusty, combining for three interceptions and zero touchdown passes.

AJ Dillon scored two running touchdowns in the fourth quarter when the Green Bay Packers broke off a defensive battle with the Seattle Seahawks, ultimately shutting out the visitors 17-0 on snow-covered Lambeau Field.
It took nearly 50 minutes to score the first touchdown of the match, with only a Mason Crosby field goal in the second quarter on the scoreboard until Dillon found the three-yard endzone. Crosby’s kick ended a run of three consecutive mistakes, including a 42-yard wide right on the game’s opening drive.
Dillan finished with 66 yards on 21 courses and scored again on two yards just in the last two minutes of an otherwise freezing contest. Packers running back Aaron Jones exited the game at the end of the third quarter with a serious knee injury.

Quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers, on their return to the NFL – the former from a finger injury, the latter from a Covid attack – were both rusty, combining for three interceptions and zero touchdown passes.
All three of their picks came in the opponent’s in-goal, with the top two in duo possession in the third quarter. Wilson’s shot for DK Metcalf on 3rd and 10th from the 12-yard line found Kevin King, while Rodgers was eliminated by Jamal Adams nine plays later on 3rd and 6th from Seattle 15.
Rodgers would make amends in the next series, leading the team 62 yards down the field on a drive from the net covered by Dillon. He repeated the trick after Wilson had thrown his second interception on a desperate deep ball in search of Tyler Lockett.
The Seahawks (3-6) were sidelined for the first time since 2011, the year before the Wilson draft, while the Packers recovered from a 13-7 defeat last week at the Kansas City Chiefs without Rodgers.
