Senate Democrats released a comprehensive $ 3.5 trillion budget resolution Monday morning, the legislative vehicle for a wide range of programs covering both physical and “human” infrastructure.
The the text of the resolution is here. Its launch comes as the bipartisan, parallel track infrastructure bill cleared a key procedural hurdle Sunday night.
The Senate vote on that bill is scheduled for Tuesday morning, though, like everything else in this process, it is subject to change.
For budget resolution, we can expect the next few weeks and months to be full of maneuversas various advocacy groups try to make sure they don’t miss out on what could become one of the last opportunities for significant legislative change for years to come.
