Sheridan Smith has parted ways with her fiancé Jamie Horn.
The 40-year-old actress, who gave birth to a son named Billy last May, has confirmed that she has parted ways with the 31-year-old insurance broker after three years of marriage.
In a joint statement to The Sun on Sunday, they said, “It was with great sadness that we decided to spend some time apart.
“We are both still fully committed to raising our beautiful boy, Billy, together. We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you”.
The duo previously appeared together in an ITV documentary titled Sheridan Smith: Becoming a Mom.
In the show, the famous actress discussed the issues of parenting and her experience of childbirth in isolation from the coronavirus.
Then she shared: “It’s surreal. You seem to be walking in some daze.
“If it weren’t for a pandemic, we would have more people to rely on so we both can get some rest.
“But, thank God, we were with each other, because Jamie also devoted a lot of time to the baby, so I had to sleep in between breastfeeding.
“But we walked like zombies and didn’t know what day it was.”
Sheridan admitted that the coronavirus crisis has complicated her parenting experience.
Over time, however, she learned that she needed to “just go on and do it.”
She said, “However, when this bundle of joy appears, the good times make up for the bad ones. It was just us, the little three, with no other people to rely on.
“But everyone who has had a child always says just go ahead and do it.”
