This week’s Recipe of the Week comes from HealthbuddyAcadmey’s High Protein Recipe Pack and is so simple to make.
With no need for pre-made spice packets, this can easily be made in a slow cooker on a stovetop in a large skillet over very low heat.
WHAT DO YOU NEED:
• 900 g of chicken
• 4 bell peppers, sliced
• 1 red onion, sliced
• 2 tbsp. Honey
• 1 tablespoon. olive oil
• 1 lime, juice
• 1 tablespoon. chilli powder
• 1 tablespoon. cumin
• 1 tablespoon. peppers
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. onion powder
• 1 tsp. garlic powder
• 1 cup chopped
Place half of the bell peppers and the sliced onion in the slow
Layer chicken and coat with honey, olive oil,
lemon juice, all seasonings and chopped tomatoes.
Lastly, add the remaining peppers and onions and cook for
4 hours in height.
Remove chicken and shred with a fork, then return
in the slow cooker, mix well and cook for another 10
minutes on low
Assemble the fajitas and enjoy.
Suggested serving (not included in the nutritional information):
• tortillas, cream, guacamole, cilantro
