Melbourne, Australia-based League of Geeks rose to fame with Armello, the studio’s debut release that recreated a tabletop strategy game in video game form.

Now, the goal of the studio is to update Solium Infernum while maintaining its unique gameplay: allowing all participants to take turns simultaneously and only witnessing their enemies’ plans unfold following their own choices.

The goal of the game is to reclaim the Infernal Throne of Hell, using deep systems of political intrigue, military strategy, betrayal, and betrayal. Players choose one of eight Archfiends at the start of a match and must master the five spheres of evil and claim artifacts as evil boons.

Games can be from two to four hours single player or weekly multiplayer matches for six players with only a few minutes of play per day.

“The original Solium Infernum is one of the most remarkable video games ever created. Its evocative Milton-inspired vision of hell and deep focus on political intrigue are unique in the marketplace,” said Trent Kusters, League co-founder and director. by Geeks.

“We are honored and delighted to bring Solium Infernum into the spotlight it has always deserved!”

Solium Infernum was one of the Eurogamer games of 2009, so many years ago.

League of Geeks’ announcement came in their keynote address at this week’s EGX, the show run by Eurogamer’s parent company Reedpop.
