Series like ‘Insecure’, but not like ‘Game of Thrones’

Over the past few decades, HBO has delivered some of the most successful or groundbreaking series, many of which are making their way to Netflix. For starters, all five seasons of the hit comedy-drama series. Insecure are available on Netflix in the US, with more on the way.
Yes, you read that right. Hit shows that originally aired on HBO, both old and new (sort of), will slowly but surely flood the top spots on Netflix for your viewing pleasure. As mentioned above, that starts with the popular program Insecureand then we’ll look at some older titles like six feet under with Michael C. Hall, basketball players, Brothers band, The Pacificand more.
However, don’t expect everything from HBO’s great programming to cross over to other platforms. you will not be seeing game of Thrones either The last of us, to name a few, at least not right now. Besides, True Blood It will also stream on Netflix, but only for viewers outside of the US.
So why is this happening? It’s as part of MAX’s larger rebranding, where parent company Warner Bros. Discovery is looking to increase revenue and take advantage of the excellent IP that HBO has created.
Warner Bros has quickly canceled or removed several popular titles of late, such as Western world, which is now available on Roku. More importantly, it is a move that is mutually beneficial to all parties involved. This allows some of the existing content to get new eyes, which is likely to make a nice profit for the company.
Plus, this gives Netflix extra content to keep its subscribers happy, which is especially helpful considering all the changes that have come lately. Some of them include cracking down on password sharing and new ad-supported plans. So if you don’t have Netflix or are considering canceling, you might want to hold off on all these new shows.
