According to TMZ, DeRozan heard a commotion upstairs where her children were hanging out at her Los Angeles-area home on November 19.

A source told the celebrity news site that DeRozan, who currently plays for the San Antonio Spurs, “kicked the man out of his house.”

We’re sorry, but this video could not be loaded.

The intruder’s intended target appeared to be Kylie Jenner’s house, but he had made a mistake.

Later, a man was arrested while trying to re-enter the gated community.

Justin Bergquist was charged with one count of felony robbery, according to TMZ.

DeRozan said he and his family are doing well after the terrifying encounter.

“I grew up in Compton, California,” he told ESPN on Saturday. “I’ve been through worse.”
