Stacey Solomon is “so grateful” after being reassured that her unborn child is “comfortable and safe.”
The Free Women star underwent an ultrasound scan over the weekend for reassurance after many of her fans commented that her pregnancy lump was “small,” and while she confirmed it was, Stacey and her fiancé Joe Swash were relieved to find out which doesn’t mean there is a problem.
In her Instagram story, she wrote: “Good morning. Sorry, I was so quiet that we spent the weekend checking out how the princess has pickle.
“It’s okay. And we’re going to see her this morning to double-check everything … Feeling so grateful that she’s happy, comfortable and safe there. Happy Sunday.”
The 31-year-old star, who has 13-year-old Zackery and nine-year-old Leighton from a previous relationship, as well as two-year-old Rex with Joe, advised people to think hard before commenting on women’s sizes and shapes. during pregnancy, because the comments made about her made her uneasy, even though she knew that no one was going to harm.
She wrote: “Many people have said that my lump is very small and it really is 2% instead of 20% +, but luckily the baby is exactly where she needs to be today, despite my belly size.
“Every pregnancy, every lump and every baby is different. And as kind as people are, I think sometimes it’s important to remember when telling someone that they look “big” or “small,” or something in between, can be very unsettling for a growing mummy. person and worries why they are so different from someone else.
“And it can be really scary. I know people don’t mean any harm by saying ‘you’re so petite and tiny,’ but it definitely hit my head a lot and made me worry … (sic)”
Stacey revealed earlier this month that she and Joe, who also has a son Harry, 13, from his relationship with Emma Sophocleus, will welcome their baby girl to the world in “eight or nine weeks.”
