Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah married host Sanjana Ganesan in a private ceremony in Goa on March 15. Soon, images of her wedding festivities were shared on social media. After your wedding photos, haldi and mehendi days went viral, your welcome lunch photos and sangeet are here.
For the welcome lunch, the speedy bowler donned a bespoke kurta by designer Kunal Rawal. The kurta was embroidered with metallic thread and was paired with tight pants. Sanjana, on the other hand, was spotted wearing a mint-colored ensemble: an intricately designed kurta paired with matching straight pants and see-through dupatta.
Her look was complemented by gorgeous Mahesh Notandass earrings as she completed it with side parted hair and matching juttis.
For sangeet, they both opted for brighter colors. Jasprit was seen wearing a navy blue sherwani, also by Kunal Rawal, which featured black embroidery and metallic details. Sanjana looked gorgeous in an Anita Dongre purple lehenga that was highlighted by the beautiful gotta patti hand embroidery. The look was accessorized with stunning designer jewelry.
For Haldi, the couple kept the color of the ceremony. Jasprit was spotted in an Antar Agni kurta ensemble when Sanjana opted for a yellow Anavila jamdani saree. Her sari, according to the designer’s website, is priced at Rs 64,000.
For mehendi, they both opted for Anita Dongre outfits. Sanjana was seen in a lehenga hand-painted with traditional Pichwai art, inspired by the mystical forests of India, along with a hand-embroidered drop patti. Jasprit looked elegant in a shitty sherwani that featured similar motifs.
What do you think of her look?
