Just in time, Techland has provided an update of Dying Light 2developing. In a new video posted on YouTube, Techland explains the delays with a “huge and complex project” in Dying Light 2 as needed to deliver a game that “will live up to our vision.”
Tymon Smektala, the lead designer of Dying Light 2, called on fans in the video to trust and support the team during this remaining development time. Techland acknowledged the frustration of fans reading angry Tweets from fans on Twitter. The team responded by asking fans to be patient “just a little bit longer” as Techland promises more on the development of the title soon.
After that, the video cuts to 30 seconds of new clips from the game, followed by a graphic listing the release date of 2021, although an exact date was not discussed or revealed.
Dying Light 2 It is currently in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
