The long-awaited game is due out in 2021
Fans have been eagerly awaiting updates on Dying Light 2, and developer Techland has responded by releasing a new video update. The video contains some exciting gameplay clips, but it begins with members of the development team reading through a few tweets, all from fans desperately waiting for the game and even starting to use profanity with the developers. But it was fun overall, and Techland informed viewers to wait patiently and that the game is due out in 2021.
This was a unique and interesting way for the developer to address fans, and it’s clear that they understood the anticipation fans have for the game. They expressed their understanding and added that “when circumstances are difficult for everyone.” While they did not directly address the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it seemed very clear that it had something to do with the production delay. After all, the pandemic affected the video game industry as much as it did the movie industry and other businesses.
But the pandemic also raised the demand for video games, as many turned to games as a form of escapism.
After reading the bad tweets and addressing the situation, Techland showed about 20 seconds of gameplay footage, and we can see the parkour abilities of protagonist Aiden Caldwell as he leaps from buildings and attacks enemies, and the ones he was shown attacking were humans, that is, rivals. the gangs are working. A new multi-limbed zombie was also shown from behind.
Since “2021” was shown at the end, we can expect the game to come out during the second half of the year. That means there will be a trailer coming soon.
