The new Ferrari BR20 is a V12 engine two-seater coupe based on the GTC4 Luxury this is the latest addition to the company’s ultra-exclusive unique series.

The style is inspired by the Ferrari coupes of the 50s and 60s, with ideas that wink at the 410 Superamerica and the 500 Superfast.

It was designed like the the most recent one-off project of overcabs for one of the “historical customers” of the Italian company.

The BR20 was built on the platform of the GTC4 Lusso grand tourer that recently out of production but it has been extensively reworked. Notably, it’s longer than the original to allow for the addition of a bold rear overhang, including an aerodynamic air channel, rear spoiler and exhausts integrated into the lower diffuser.

At the front, it features an enlarged and reworked front grille that includes unique horizontal slats e an upper element in carbon fiber that connects to other recent ones Unique models.

The headlights have also been modified with thinner daytime running lights and the 20-inch diamond wheels are unique.

The GTC4 Lusso’s two rear seats have been removed to transform the car into a two-seater, which also allows it to sport a sleeker fastback-style roof.

The removal of the seats also allows for a major redesign of the interior, which features extensive use of leather and carbon fiber finishes. The seats feature a unique stitch pattern, while the oak upholstery covers the rear bench and trunk.

No performance details were disclosed, but the car retains the 6.2-liter V12 and all-wheel drive system from the GTC4 Lusso. In that model, the engine was tuned for 680bhp.

As with other luxury manufacturers, one-off, limited-run carriage construction projects are an increasingly lucrative revenue stream for Ferrari. Maranello once reported having done so a five-year waiting list for such projects.

Ferrari said the BR20 customer was “deeply involved” in the creation of the car, although he did not disclose details about their identities. It also didn’t give a value for the car.
