Action Bronson has announced the fifth season of his beloved Fuck that’s delicious show, and for the first time in its existence, is entirely independent; entirely produced and financed by Bambaklava.
Episode one finds Bronson at the Impact Zone in Norwood, NJ, the gym where his much-talked about physical transformation has taken place during the course of the pandemic. Both a mental and physical change, the episode introduces us to his coach, takes us through a day of training, and dives into his perspective then and now. Not forgetting the roots of the show, he cooks a plate of Sicilian stuffed squid, a childhood favorite of his trainer Dave Paladino, in the gym parking lot.
Fifth season, with the soundtrack of his most recent album. Only for dolphins, finds the balance between a healthy lifestyle and food, including an appearance by his new sparring partner, future MLB Hall of Famer CC Sabathia, surfing expeditions, stops at some of your favorite NYC pizza and bagel spots, and more.
With the show comes the announcement of his third book. Fuck it, I’ll start tomorrow, available April 20 through ABRAMS. A brutally honest look at the rapper / chef’s struggles with weight, food addiction, and the journey toward self-acceptance, Bronson notes, “This book has been in the works for two years, and I hated every minute of it. The reason I made the book in the first place was just so I could read another cookbook so I was going to mail this one and move on. What I didn’t realize was that this was the catalyst that made me look inside myself and take some serious action to fix the years of self-harm. I didn’t mean well in making this book, but somehow it became this beacon of hope, unintentional but meant to be. “
