One of the lawyers who closely covered Tekashi 6ix9ine’s racketeering trial says he believes NBA YoungBoy, who was taken into custody today by federal authorities, will face a federal judge on the RICO charges.
Mohammed Gangat pointed to YoungBoy’s 2020 arrest in Baton Rouge, when authorities struck him with more than a dozen drug charges in video footage. Baton Rouge police received a report of a large group of men brandishing large firearms on abandoned property, who were identified as two separate factions; Never Broke Again and Bottom Boy Guerrillas.
“Fast forward to now, Young Boy is arrested by the feds. “ Gangat says in the video. “You put two and two together, what could this be? It could well be a RICO charge. When he was arrested, he was basically on the seat of the table. He was running the show and around him were guns, money, gang members who were also being investigated for other crimes, including murder. You can bet that when that happens, the feds will try to make a RICO charge. ”
