The World Congress of Nephrology (WCN) is the annual scientific, educational and networking meeting of the International Society of Nephrology. WCN features regionally relevant symposia, presentations, training programs, and courses, offering the latest in cutting-edge nephrology science and education.
WCN is the perfect opportunity to meet experts and colleagues from around the world to share ideas and best practices.
WCN’22 is organized by the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and organized by the Asia Pacific Nephrology Society and the Malaysian Nephrology Society.
The ISN is proud to bring the congress to Southeast Asia, ensuring that understanding and awareness of kidney disease continues to progress in the region.
The World Congress of Nephrology (WCN) highlights three scientific topics within its program: kidney failure, chronic kidney disease, other Acute kidney injury.
Promoting inclusion and equitable access, WCN’22 will host thousands of participants, including the world’s leading experts in kidney health care, to exchange the latest scientific and clinical applications to improve kidney health and prevent kidney disease across the world.
WCN’22 and COVID-19
The safety and well-being of our members, their patients, and the public remain our primary concern. Therefore, in response to the continuing pandemic, and in full collaboration with the hosts and Local Organizer and Scientific Program Working Groups, WCN’22 will be held in the safest environment possible. At this time, the activities of the congress are programmed in a virtual format to reach everyone. The Malaysian government is implementing a recovery plan that will see the society and economy open up towards the end of 2021. In-person activities for WCN’22 can be added to the virtual format and announced if everyone considers it safe and feasible.
