The planet is pretty messed up these days. If you are not forced out of the house by the flood Other our dilapidated infrastructure, then drought and food shortages will soon send you back to a hunter-gatherer existence.
When that happens, the perfect vehicle to ensure your continued existence on this godforsaken planet could be a massive off-road camper based on the Ford F-750 pickup. Fortunately, one is now on sale.
It is perfect, therefore, for forming the base of an overland camper where you can bunker down during a nuclear winter. This is exactly what camper specialist Global Expedition Vehicles thought, as he used one to create the Adventure Truck.
Previewed during this year’s SEMA show, the Adventure Truck uses a 2004 Ford F-750 chassis as a base. The truck was then topped with a fiberglass body that houses everything you need to live your post-apocalyptic existence.
Inside the body of the beast is a kitchen with sink, induction hob, refrigerator and microwave, as well as a dining area for two with a table and benches.
Further back in the truck, you’ll find a full-sized bed that you can rest your head on after a hard day spent fighting for survival in the remnants of civilization. There is also a shower, a toilet and plenty of storage space for all your souvenirs from a simpler time.
The truck also features a 90-gallon freshwater tank and 20-gallon greywater waste deposit.
The RV chassis has everything you need to keep you and your family on the road as you try to escape any potential zombie invasion. It is powered by a 7.2-liter engine, coupled with a 240-gallon fuel tank, semi-automatic tire inflation system, front winch, and auxiliary lights.
There are also solar panels to power its electronics and the Adventure Truck is equipped with GPS and satellite radio.
Does all this make the Adventure Truck the ultimate survival truck from the apocalypse?
If you think so, Global Expedition Vehicles is selling this truck right now. All this earthly exuberance can be yours for $ 345,000.
