Transfer news: Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing a €25m attacker this summer

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Jeremy Doku from State Rennais.

The 21-year-old winger has also been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past and a report by Mohamed Toubache-Ter via GFFN claims Liverpool’s interest is serious.

The Reds need to add more depth to their attack and Doku could prove to be an excellent signing. Although he needs to improve his final product, he is still a talented young attacker with immense potential.

Doku is one of the best dribblers in Ligue 1 and will help Liverpool open up deep defences. The Reds have missed someone of his skill set in recent seasons and could use him to turn games in their favor.

Doku will add electric pace and unpredictability to Jurgen Klopp’s attack next season.

The 21-year-old is still very young and has a lot of room for improvement. Klopp could help him become a top-class attacker in the future.

The Belgian is versatile enough to operate on either flank and Renns will be looking to cash in on the €25m they paid for him.

Liverpool certainly have the financial wherewithal to afford it and it remains to be seen if they follow up their interest with a concrete offer.

The winger has seven goals and four assists to his name last season and playing alongside top players at Anfield could help him improve those numbers.
