Transfer news: Liverpool get a transfer boost after Real Madrid superstar sends out major transfer tip

Hint by Aurelien Tchouameni
There are a number of targets that have been mentioned over the summer and particularly in the last 24 hours, and despite Aurelien Tchouameni’s credentials making him an ideal replacement, it seems increasingly likely that it won’t be him.

If preventing Liverpool from winning the Champions League last year wasn’t painful enough, Real Madrid dealt a transfer blow to their rivals by signing their main midfield target, Tchouameni, wresting the then Monaco man away for £ 85 million.

However, the Frenchman often found himself a regular off the bench in his first season at the Santiago Bernabéu. Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Eduardo Camavinga and Fede Valverde proved to be stubborn clients in Los Blancos’ starting eleven. And, of course, Madrid have now signed that other Liverpool long-term target, Jude Bellingham.

This has raised new hopes among Reds supporters that Tchouameni could, in fact, complete the move to Anfield that many thought would come to fruition 12 months ago. However, two reasons automatically put an end to such illusions.

“Let me say that the message from Real Madrid is very clear: they want to keep the player,” transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano explained via YouTube. “They trust Tchouameni for the present and the future of the club, so it will not be easy to bring Tchouameni to English football. At the moment, it seems very complicated.

“In addition, Carlo Ancelotti was very clear with the player. He told him that he wants Tchouameni to stay at Real Madrid and for him to be an important player for Real Madrid”.

Secondly, Liverpool fans have seen a direct hint from the player himself which suggests that Liverpool are not in his plans.

There was a post on Twitter from a Real Madrid fan account, which translated into English read: “Tchouaméni IS NOT FOR SALE. @FabrizioRomano Do you understand? @Liverpool.”

However, this would mean nothing on its own when seen in the publicly visible list of tweets on Tchouameni’s official profile, as was the case on Friday.
