Donald Trump reposted a video on his Truth Social platform on Thursday in which he is heard saying: “If you fuck with us, if you do something bad to us, we will do things to you that have never been done before.”
The former president’s threatening words play with a black and white image of his face and the logo of his 2024 campaign.
The clip was initially shared by user @AmericanAF, who in his bio says it is the “OFFICIAL MAGA headquarters” that is “run by veterans.”
The audio is actually from a 2020 conversation the 2024 Republican frontrunner had about Iran.
Trump shared the video, without the context of Iran, as he is reportedly facing another indictment, this time in special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into the riot at the US Capitol.
A twice-indictee, Trump has frequently bristled at the legal scrutiny he has faced since leaving office, claiming earlier this week that Smith had sent him an objective letter in the investigation. He called it “HORRIBLE NEWS.”
