Christian Pulisic admits that the 2020-21 campaign “has not been easy” for him, but the USMNT star is “feeling great” right now and is looking to end the season with a flourish.

The United States international has suffered a series of premature setbacks from injuries at Stamford Bridge, restricting him to just 12 Premier League starts this season.

He has also had to deal with a change of address, with Thomas Tuchel inherits the reins of Frank LampardBut the 22-year-old has earned the favor of late and has four goals in his last four appearances for the club and the country.

What has been said?

nach pocketing a double in 4-1 win over Crystal Palace last time, Pulisic told Chelsea official website: “Personally I feel very good.

“I’m happy to play and help the team in any way I can. It was nice to be on the scoreboard and I feel very strong at the moment.

“I’m doing everything I can to take care of myself. I have to take care of my body and be strong and healthy for all the games.”

“It has not been an easy season, there have been many ins and outs and injuries, but I feel healthy and strong at the moment.”

A productive debut campaign at Chelsea in 2019-20 saw Pulisic sit down 14 games through injury, and his season ended on a low level when he took a hit in an FA Cup final loss to Arsenal.

That ailment delayed his start to the current season, with calf and hamstring problems preventing it.

There have been more muscle problems since then and he has missed another 14 games this season for various reasons.

Questions were asked about Pulisic’s future in West London as I searched for form, aptitude and favor, with moves that are proposed to Premier League rivals.

However, he has worked hard to win a series regular role under Tuchel and seems to have rediscovered a spark.

Chelsea will hope that is the case as they still have a lot to play for.

The Blues are in the process of chasing a top-four result in the Premier League, while also establishing an advantage in a Champions League quarter-final clash with Porto and projecting themselves for a date. semi-finals of the FA Cup with Manchester City.
