Last spring, Sony’s Columbia Pictures delayed its long-awaited Poison: let there be slaughter from its planned date of October 2, 2020 to June 25, 2021. Now, with that date fast approaching, the studio has changed plans by pushing the Poison sequel to September 17, 2021, adding the Spiderman bypass to a growing fall slate that includes Candyman, Resident Evil, Evil, other Halloween kills, among several others.
Poison 2 this time it is directed by Andy Serkis with Tom hardy returning as Eddie Brock, who of course is also the alien symbiote known as Venom. Woody harrelson, who appeared as Cletus Kasady in the first film’s post-credits scene, eventually becomes Carnage in the film.
Michelle williams is also back, with Naomie harris co-starring as Shriek.
