Leicester City owner and chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha has been confirmed among those killed in Saturday night’s helicopter crash tragedy at the King Power Stadium.
The Premier League club officially confirmed on Sunday that five people died when the helicopter lost control during takeoff.
A statement from the club read: “It is with the deepest regret and collective broken heart that we confirm that our Chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, was among those who tragically lost their lives on Saturday night when a helicopter carrying him and four other people crashed outside King Power Stadium None of the five people on board survived.
