Activision Call of Duty: War Zone is gearing up to receive all the new “never done before” content after the zombie event that recently launched. Apparently, the zombies are just the tip of the iceberg of his big plans.
War zone It was created for Activision to enter the Battle Royale genre, which is all the rage for the last 3 years. But they succeeded, after using beloved characters, weapons, and maps that had been around since the franchise’s inception and combining them with combat and other gameplay mechanics.
During an interview with ReverseBrandon Snow, Activision’s chief revenue officer for eSports, scoffed that they had been developing something new for the battle royale scene. The developers are looking to bring Call of Duty: War Zone in the focus of eSports, adding to the existing ones Call of Duty League eSports. Snow said there are some “really cool new things” that have never been done before in the history of the popular franchise. He didn’t delve into the details as this is clearly going to be something of a surprise, but Activision is clearly investing in the game, especially for future eSports and tournaments.
The new season is rumored to involve nuclear bombs, and it will arrive in Verdansk on April 22. As the map already had zombie attacks in certain places, a nuclear fallout will be just what you need to kill them. It is also said that players will be able to see the nuclear bomb fall through a mode in the game called Plague.
