In 2021 in Colorado, the governor. Jared Polis and the progressive majority in the Colorado General Assembly set out to keep the promises they made to voters in two previous successive elections. The result was historic progress on some of the most important issues facing our state. From tackling man-made climate change to reducing the cost of healthcare and prescription drugs, we show the entire nation what it looks like when progressives articulate a clear vision and then take measurable steps to achieve it.
The result is tangible progress that everyone in Colorado can see for themselves.
Colorado voters are delighted with the results.. The new poll released this week by our partners at the Global Strategy Group clearly demonstrates that Colorado voters are paying attention to what is happening in the state legislature and strongly approve of this year’s historic session. Indeed, despite endless political attacks from the far right, support for the progressive agenda and the leaders fighting for it has increased since the 2020 election. Voters overwhelmingly approve of the governor’s job. Polis is doing to squash the pandemic and is relying on progressives to handle the issues that matter most to Coloradans.

Cartographers want to hear from you! Colorado’s independent redistricting commissions are beginning their tour of the state to learn more about communities of concern that deserve a voice in Congress and at the state capitol in Denver. During July and August, you will be holding hearings in all parts of the state, and it is your opportunity to inform these commissions about what makes your community unique and cohesive. In many other states, the redistricting process is fraught with political conflict, but this time we are trying to do it differently in Colorado. The outcome depends in part on your participation, so if you haven’t already, please look at the schedule of the next hearings of the commission and make your plan to attend in person or virtually.
