Whoopi Goldberg has signed on to play a lead role in “Luck,” a new original animated film coming soon to Apple TV +. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Goldberg will voice The Captain, the head of security for Land of Good Luck.
Multihypenate Goldberg, one of the few to achieve EGOT status as an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony winner, will provide the voice of The Captain, Land of Good Luck’s tough head of security. The character is described as having watchful hawk eyes and a keen sense of intuition, even more so than his knowledge of Luck Security codes, as well as a commitment to his job of avoiding bad luck and protecting lucky pennies to All coast.
