WI vs IND 2023: Virat Kohli becomes the 10th cricketer to play 500 caps | India Tour of the West Indies 2023: On 20 July 2023, Virat Kohli became the 10th cricketer in history to play 500 caps for India in the second Test against the West Indies at Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain.

The 33-year-old Kohli, considered one of the greatest batsmen of all time, has represented India in 111 Tests, 274 ODIs and 115 T20Is. He scored 8,555 runs in Tests, 12,898 runs in ODI and 4,008 in T20I.

Kohli’s 500th cap was a special occasion for the Indian team, and he was given a guard of honor by his teammates before the start of the match. He too received a special memento from the West Indies Cricket Board.

The West Indies Tour of India 2023 is a series of cricket matches played between India and the West Indies in July and August 2023. The tour consists of three Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is.
