Action movie superstar Jason Statham will be kicking, punching and flipping gray lines very soon, with an action thriller. Wrath of man will now premiere on April 23. With Los Angeles theaters preparing to reopen this weekend, Wrath of man it should provide a delightfully action-packed getaway for audiences who have been clamoring to see movies on the big screen again.
Based on the 2004 French action thriller Cash truck (You convoyeur), Wrath of man follow Jason statham as Harry, known as “H”, a cold and mysterious character who works at a cash trucking company responsible for moving hundreds of millions of dollars around Los Angeles each week. Written and directed by Lock, butt and two smoking barrels filmmaker Guy Ritchie, the high-octane heist starring Josh Hartnett, Scott Eastwood, Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, Laz Alonso, Raul Castillo, Niamh Algar and Post Malone alongside The Stath.
Wrath of man is being produced by Miramax in conjunction with MGM, which means that the film will be distributed by United Artists Releasing. Statham’s façade movie will hit theaters a week after the next video game adaptation. Mortal Kombat and just two weeks before Marvel and Disney finally release Black widow, donation Wrath of man a small window to impress and, ideally, some money.
Wrath of man It’s not the only action movie project on the horizon for Statham and the filmmaker Guy ritchie, with the pair teaming up for the thriller formerly known as Five eyes. The film, which does not yet have an official title, finds Jason Statham once again in gruff-talking action hero territory as the gorgeously named Orson Fortune, an MI6 weapons and steel agent who is recruited by an alliance of Global intelligence to track down and stop the sale of a deadly new weapons technology that threatens to disrupt the world order. He is reluctantly paired with a CIA high-tech expert, played by Parks and Recreation student Aubrey Plaza, with the pair setting off on a globetrotting mission where Fortune will have to use all his charm, wits and stealth to track down and infiltrate a billionaire gun runner.
Jason Statham’s pairing with Aubrey Plaza should prove highly entertaining, as the quirky comedian recently revealed her plans to “destroy” the tough-talking tough man when they finally meet on screen. “I can’t wait to shoot this movie,” Plaza said. “I hope you let me be a bada ** CIA agent with the latest bada **. There’s no one badder ** than Statham, and I’m going for Statham. You better be careful. Because I’m going to destroy him, and you will like it. “
Josh Hartnett has also been cast to star in the project, as well as to star in Wrath of man, with the rest of the supporting cast consisting of Mountain range star Cary Elwes, rapper Bugzy Malone and The Knights star Hugh Grant.
Wrath of man It will be Ritchie’s fourth directorial collaboration with lead actor Jason Statham following artists like Lock, butt and two smoking barrels, Snatch, Y stir, and the pair are no doubt looking to rekindle theaters with their particular style of action and adventure.
Wrath of man It was originally scheduled for January 15, 2021, but will now hit theaters on April 23. This comes to us courtesy of Collider.
