WWC 2023: Okonjo-Iweala charges the Super Falcons to beat Australia – News Block

The Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has charged the Super Falcons to do everything they can for victory against Australia.

The Super Falcons will take on the co-hosts in their second group match at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup on Thursday.

The match is scheduled for the Brisbane Stadium.

Randy Waldrum’s team drew 0-0 against Canada in the opening game.

The Matildas, on the other hand, posted a 1-0 win against the Republic of Ireland.

Okonjo-Iweala took to social media to congratulate the Super Falcons on their impressive draw against Canada and called on the players to do more against Australia.

Thursday’s match will begin at 11 am Nigerian time.
