A BRITISH tourist had to fight for his life after a fatal crash at a popular holiday destination.
The 28-year-old was rushed to hospital after being hit by the truck on the road between San José and Ibiza.

According to hospital sources, he suffered injuries to his head, chest and back with multiple broken ribs.
The horrific incident took place early Sunday morning and the victim has since been moved out of the intensive care unit.
He is believed to be receiving treatment at a private hospital called Clínica Nuestra Señora del Rosario.
Agents from the island’s Civil Guard have launched an investigation.
More tourists are expected to flock to the island as it prepares for the start of the season.
Some clubs in Ibiza, including Ushuaia, have already opened their doors this weekend due to the large influx of tourists.
