The NFL Draft is just around the corner.

And while that’s always good and exciting news for the fans, that’s also when General Managers either save their jobs or lose them.

With that in mind, NFL insider Marc Ross believes the Arizona Cardinals will be under a lot of pressure come draft night.

Talking on the NFL Network, he argued that the Cardinals desperately need to get it right this time.

For starters, they’ve already rolled the dice by choosing to stay with Kyler Murray instead of getting one of the younger quarterback prospects.

On top of that, they need to make sure to either land Marvin Harrison Jr. or get the best package they could possibly get for that No. 4 selection, and if that’s the case, they absolutely cannot mess things up with the players they end up getting.

The Cardinals aren’t exactly a contending team right now, and those kinds of teams usually don’t spend big bucks on their quarterback.

This front office has already made some moves that didn’t seem to pay off, and it would be hard to justify holding onto this regime for much longer if they drop the ball again in this edition of the NFL Draft.

As for Murray, this could be a make-or-break season for the former No. 1 pick, who’s either been hurt or underperformed more often than not, not to mention all the doubts and reports about his leadership, maturity, and work ethic — or lack thereof — throughout the course of the years.
