Joel Embiid isn’t exactly beloved by any NBA fan base other than that of the Philadelphia 76ers.

As great a player as he is, his constant flopping and foul-baiting have often exasperated opposing fans.

Then again, above all those things, his seemingly dirty ways have raised some eyebrows as well.

Embiid has been on the wrong end of several questionable moves in the first round vs. the New York Knicks.

From kicking Mitchell Robinson to literally grabbing him by the ankle and whatnot, Knicks fans even put together a lowlight reel of all the dirty plays he’s done during the series.

That’s why it wasn’t much of a surprise to see a diehard Knicks fan like Craig Carton call him the dirtiest player in NBA history (via The Carton Show).

Of course, that’s a hefty statement, especially considering this league has also seen guys arguably much worse in this regard.

Embiid is one of the most talented players this game has ever seen, but it’s safe to say that he’s never going to be truly appreciated because of his demeanor.

The Sixers are now down 3-1 in the series and are on the brink of elimination.

Hopefully, desperation won’t lead the former No. 3 pick to incur in any of these questionable moves, as there’s no room for that in the game.
