The Chicago Bulls continue to sell out seats and live off Michael Jordan’s greatness and memory.
The franchise hasn’t been relevant, basketball-wise, since Derrick Rose became the league’s youngest MVP, and they don’t have the personnel or the draft capital to make the fans think that’s going to change any time soon.
The ownership has refused to pay the luxury tax, and the front office has been reluctant to tank.
That has led them to the worst possible position any NBA team could be in, as they’re not good enough to be a contender or bad enough to get a star in the NBA Draft.
With that in mind, David Kaplan went on ESPN Radio in Chicago to call the front office an “embarrassment,” urging the team to clean house and just start over with a different GM and president of basketball operations.

Truth be told, there’s absolutely nothing positive to say about the Bulls’ season.
They didn’t trade Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, Coby White, or Nikola Vucevic.
They also didn’t move Alex Caruso.
And while some of those players have been great for them, they could benefit more from the draft capital.
Of course, they didn’t go after more help in a trade, either.
It seems like they’re still hanging onto the hope that Lonzo Ball, who hasn’t played a single minute of basketball in over two years, will be this team’s savior.
