The 2024 NFL Draft is filled with fantastic prospects on both sides of the ball.

Several quarterbacks are viewed as instant game-changers, as are the top offensive linemen, wide receivers, and tight ends.

With the emphasis on these other positions, the tight end has been pushed to the side, mainly because this class isn’t as deep as previous years.

Brock Bowers is the only tight end believed to be taken in the first round.

While he might be the only one, it appears that he’s highly touted for a reason.

Jeane Coakley recently sat down with New York Jets GM Joe Douglas, who had nothing but positive things to say about Bowers.

“Brock is the ultimate Swiss army knife,” Douglas said.

This interview corresponds with the latest draft buzz of Bowers.

There is a growing sense that the Jets will draft Bowers with the No. 10 overall pick, adding yet another offensive piece to help Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers seemed to orchestrate a lot of player movement heading into the 2023 season, as the Jets added several of his former Green Bay Packers teammates to the roster.

If they do draft Bowers, Rodgers could finally have an elite tight end at his disposal, the first highly-touted tight end since the early days of his Jermichael Finley connection.

The Jets have a lot of work to do ahead of the 2024 campaign if they want to make it to the playoffs for the first time in more than a decade.

Will the team’s offseason adds and upcoming draft picks be enough to help them achieve their goals?
